Sembrando Cali is a network of 'Huertas Madre' (literally, “mother gardens”)—community-led gardens that serve as hubs for learning, connection, and collective action. Through these living spaces, the network strengthens health, food sovereignty, and social ties across the city. Its mission is to reconnect people with the land, with their neighbors, and with themselves, fostering physical, mental, and emotional well-being through collective action and stewardship of the territory.

Through the visual identity, we sought to represent this connection between community, territory, and life through a vibrant, approachable, and expressive graphic system. Inspired by the energy of the gardens, popular graphic culture, and the collective strength of those cultivating a greener, fairer, and more vibrant Cali, the identity celebrates the people and relationships at the heart of the movement.
